Dr. Stephen Godin BSc., D.C.
Dr. Stephen Godin is a clinic co-owner alongside his wife, Dr. Tracy Payne. He has over twenty-four years of clinical experience providing evidence-informed care to families, athletes and seniors.
Following a thorough history and examination Dr. Godin develops, clearly communicates, and executes an individualized plan to help his patients reach their health goals. He holds an Honours BSc. From McMaster University and graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Dr. Godin treats a range of conditions including low back and neck pain, sciatica, disc herniations, headaches, repetitive strain and sports injuries. He has advanced training in TMJ dysfunction, gait analysis and orthotic therapy. Dr. Godin’s approach incorporates a variety of techniques including manual and assisted adjustments, mobilizations, lumbar traction/distraction, low-level laser therapy, near-infrared therapy and rehabilitative exercises. He strongly values collaboration with other health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Valerie Annett
Valerie graduated with honours from the massage therapy program at CDI college in Ontario in 2007 and has been practicing since 2008.
With experience working in both clinical and luxury spa settings, Valerie’s treatments are a combination of both relaxation and therapeutic techniques based on each individual’s needs. She enjoys condition focused care as well as helping with overall well being and maintenance.

Ryan Lowe

Ryan was born and raised in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. As a former national level gymnast who has been in an environment where injuries happen on a regular basis, he gained an interest in learning how to prevent, treat, and manage injuries.
This led Ryan to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University which he completed in 2021 followed by a Massage Therapy Diploma from ICT Northumberland College which he completed in 2022. Skilled in deep tissue massage and myofascial release, Ryan ensures that treatments fit the needs and wants of his clients. In addition, he has a special interest in treating Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues.

Dr. Mina-Laura Moldovan
Dr. Mina Moldovan, ND brings an extensive background in health research and evidence-informed natural medicine. She enjoys supporting individuals in their health journey and helps navigate complex health concerns with clarity, insight, and supportive care.
Dr. Mina is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and a professional member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors (NSAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). She also holds licensure with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA). She has a special interest in digestive health, nutrition, hormonal balance, women’s health, adrenal imbalance, chronic pain, metabolic health, mental health, genetics, and stress-related conditions.

Alex Mader B.Kin., D.O.M.P.
Alex approaches evaluation and treatment of his patients by assessing the global functional mechanics, local joint mobility, and then the specific tissue restriction that may be causing the dysfunction. He strives to help find a way for the body to feel and move better, or to optimize the already functioning body by freeing up tissue restrictions you didn’t know were there.
Alex is a graduate of the Collège d’Etudes Ostéopathiques (CEO), where he received his Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP) in 2022. In addition to his Osteopathic training, Alex graduated with Honours from York University in Toronto, ON with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science in 2012.
Alex’s Osteopathic approach has been helpful for patients aged 4 and up. He confidently treats pain and dysfunction of the whole body especially the spine, pelvis, and hips. Osteopathic manual therapy can also help with headaches/migraines, generalized gastrointestinal discomfort/dysfunction, and issues caused by scar tissue from surgery or accidents.

Dr. Payne is a native of Newfoundland and holds a biochemistry degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
She graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2001.
During her studies Dr. Payne received the John M. Wallace Award for academic achievement and the Jurisprudence Award.

Dr. Catherine Bartlett BSc., DC
Dr. Bartlett takes a whole-body approach to care, focusing on getting to the root of the problem rather than just treating symptoms. She works closely with her patients to build treatment plans to reduce pain, restore movement and help with long term wellness so her patients can get back to the activities they love.
Dr. Bartlett earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has over 20 years of clinical experience. She has been with the team at Cole Harbour Chiropractic & Wellness since 2010 and is a member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Bartlett enjoys supporting patients of all ages and backgrounds, educating them on how to take an active part in their health, but really loves working with babies, kids, and adolescents. Angela Malcolm MA, MSW
Angela received a Bachelor of Human Ecology degree with a major in family studies from Mount Saint Vincent University and continued her education to obtain a Master of Social Work degree from Dalhousie University.
She has over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in various outpatient mental health settings, providing assessments, crisis counselling, and intervention. Angela has various areas of practice including parent/child relationships, couples counselling, anxiety, adjustment, trauma, substance abuse and eating disorders.
Angela’s practice and therapeutic approach draws on evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF)-CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Ten (CBT-T) for eating disorders and Family Based Therapy (FBT) for eating disorders. Angela is also trained and experienced in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Solution Focused Therapy and EMDR.
As a clinical social worker, she places a strong focus on the importance of attachment and relationships. She takes a psychosocial approach to overall physical and emotional well-being to empower individuals to reach their optimal growth. Angela’s strengths lie in her ability to genuinely connect with clients and work collaboratively with them to help each unique individual achieve their own optimal growth and development.
Angela enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle, teaches group fitness classes and is a member of several animal rescue groups. Jessica Bekkers

Jessica’s treatments consist of techniques that address the nervous system as well as the musculoskeletal system. As such, she uses moderate and predictable techniques in a way that can feel deep and effective, but not invasive.
Jessica has been practicing for 10 years in an interdisciplinary clinic setting. In addition to a Diploma in Massage Therapy, she received her BA with an Advanced Major in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University. Jessica continues to study Pain Psychology and often finds it helpful in her practice. She has advanced post-graduate education in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder and Intra-Oral Massage Techniques.
Jessica has an interest in conditions that effect the Neck, Head, and Face; namely, TMJD, Headaches, Migraines, and Degenerative Conditions. Additionally, due to the nature of her treatments, she often has success in managing chronic pain conditions.
